Green Orchid Events is a wedding and event planning company owned and operated by Juliet Douglas, a Las Vegas wedding and event planner with many years of experience. We specialize in all stages of party planning and event coordination from complete event planning to “day of” coordination. We believe that an event can be planned to your heart’s desire without compromising your budget or sanity.

About Juliet – Owner and Lead Wedding Consultant
Juliet has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a concentration in Special Events and Entertainment. She has also graduated and obtained a Wedding Coordination and Design Certificate from the International School of Hospitality.
Juliet has worked at Mandalay Bay Hotel as a Wedding Coordinator and in food and beverage at the Four Seasons Hotel, Lake Las Vegas Resort, Wynn Las Vegas in Restaurant Events, and most recently at Anthem Country Club in catering. Other experience as a lead and background singer in a show and producer in a local band has also proven useful in designing and producing weddings and events. She has worked as an intern with CLM Weddings, Jason Kenneth Floral and Event Design, and LTeventions, a few of the most successful event planning and floral and décor companies in Las Vegas, Nevada.
About Angelica – Wedding Day Coordinator and Party Planner
A 2007 graduate of the Wedding Coordination & Design program at the International School of Hospitality, Angelica joined Green Orchid Events in the summer of 2008 as a wedding day coordinator and party planner.
Previously, Angelica worked for a restaurant lighting company providing restaurants with different types of candles and fuel for their guest tables. She has also been the Lead Instructor for her Safekey (recreational enrichment program for children) site supervising around 60 kids and 5 staff members and has worked with the City of Las Vegas for 7 years.
She will futher her education in the next few months by going back to the International School of Hospitality for the Art of Food and Beverage program.
